The KIDS Network is pleased to announce the Bridges to Resilience Conference, taking place October 11, 2018 from 8am-5pm at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott in Buellton. This conference is for anyone who works with children and/or youth and their families in Santa Barbara County: social workers, educators, early care providers, family advocates, probation officers, law enforcement, health and mental health professionals, resource families, and community partners. Read on for more information, a printable flyer, and registration information. Presentations and breakout sessions will provide opportunities to deepen conversations, strengthen relationships and share practical information in order to:
Build a trauma-informed and resiliency-focused community
Facilitate strong connections between schools, families and community partners
Increase knowledge of resources and tools for prevention and early intervention
Inspire, engage and invigorate the work force
Improve outcomes for children, youth and families
For more information and a registration link, see this flyer. (If the flyer doesn't download, use this link instead.)
This is the third annual Bridges to Resilience conference. The conference has fueled a growing awareness across service sectors about the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the importance of working collaboratively to support the health and well-being of children and youth in our community.
