We are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 Youth Impact Awards. These annual awards are presented to young people who have made a significant positive impact in Santa Barbara County by addressing issues of adversity. Please help us distribute the nomination form by sharing it with others and posting it as appropriate...and if you know of a youth who fits the criteria, please take the time to nominate them! Nominees for the Youth Impact Awards may be individuals or groups of young people, between the ages of 10 and 18, who reside and/or attend school in Santa Barbara County. The deadline to submit a nomination is April 5, 2019.
Two winners and four honorable mentions will receive small monetary awards, and all nominees will receive a certificate of acknowledgment. Winners and nominees will be honored at the Youth Impact Awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Veterans' Memorial Community Center Auditorium, located at 313 Tunnell St., Santa Maria, CA 93454.
